Application Documents from the Student

Application Documents from the Supporter

| 1 | Document of Financial Sponsorship | To be completed by the supporter (school sample) and hand-signed by the supporter |
| 2 | Proof of Employment | For a proprietor, a business permit, certified copy of registration certificate, etc. |
| 3 | Certificate of Income and Tax Payment | Confirmation of income and tax payment status |
| 4 | Statement of Balance | A statement of the sponsor’s bank balance. It can be displayed in the local currency. |
| 5 | Documentation showing the funding process | Deposit/withdrawal statements, bankbook, etc. |
| 6 | Documents showing the relationship between the student and the supporter | Family register, birth certificate, etc. |
| 7 | Documents certifying the family structure of the supporter | Address, date of birth, and other information that can be confirmed |
*All documents written in another language must include a Japanese translation.
Things to be aware of when making your application
(1) All documents written in another language must include a Japanese translation.
(2) All submitted application documents should be less than three months old.
(3) All documents of certification should be printed on official paper which shows the issuing authority’s name, address, and so on.
(4) Other documents may be requested in order to demonstrate that you meet the conditions for a visa.
(5) Please keep a copy of all application documents.
